I just met Hiroyo Ubayama, the founder of Yukiwariso, a non-profit that cares for mentally and physically challenged people in Tokyo. Fifty of those people will perform Beethoven’s No. 9 tonight at Carnegie Hall. She’s humble and downplays her accomplishments, but I think she’s amazing and inspirational.
